Kry10 part of AI research team funded by UK Government

Kry10 is pleased to announce that, along with PentenAmio and Galois, we have been funded by the UK Government's Advanced Research + Invention Agency (ARIA) as part of their Safeguarded AI programme.

The programme is backing eight new research projects with £22m to test whether AI-enabled formal methods can make high-assurance cyber defence practical at a scale previously out of reach.

The Verifiable Browse-Down Project will be led by PentenAmio and will explore developing a more compact and affordable way to safely view untrusted internet content from sensitive networks. The team will use formal verification to build a single-chip system in which a browser runs separately from the sensitive environment, with proofs that each browsing session ends in a clean state so it cannot leave behind an attacker’s foothold, and that display data is well-formed and safe. If successful, it could make protections currently reliant on costly specialist hardware available to a much wider range of high-security use-cases.
